Woman hit pole supporting awning on Saturday
The driver of an SUV hit a pole at Sonic Drive-In early Saturday afternoon.
A woman was pulling out of the drive-thru at Sonic Drive-In Saturday in an SUV about 1:30 p.m. when she hit a pole supporting the awning at the restaurant.
The driver thought she had her foot on the brake, but it was on the gas pedal, said Sgt. Zane Hallock with the Durango Police Department.
No one was harmed during the accident, and the driver was cited for careless driving, he said.
