Southwestern Western Colorado Area Health Education Center will host a virtual Native American cultural awareness presentation from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 25.

The presentation will be given by Imo Succo, regional health connector, and will cover Native American cultural perspective for area community resource agencies.

Attendees will receive a brief overview of tribes in Colorado, health disparities that influence Native American populations and how that ties to the Navajo holistic wellness model, cultural behavioral norms and health accessability.
