Take objective look at what election means

After all the whining, let us take an objective look at what the election should bring us:

Finally, a secure southern border which the vast majority of Americans want. This would greatly reduce the flood of job-taking illegal aliens, and greatly stem the flow of heroin, which has become a serious epidemic, and the associated drug dealers.

Then it will bring economic growth, once the onerous regulations and punitive taxes are removed, finally bringing increased wages.

It will end the hurtful, massive income redistribution known as Obamacare, which forces hard-working individuals to pay exorbitant premiums to pay for others’ healthcare. It was never about healthcare, but rather power, passed through deceit, Jonathan Gruber and lies. The bill killed the creation of millions of jobs because of its costs, and turned millions more from full time to part time employees.

We will not have a great influx of Syrian refugees which cannot be vetted properly (look at the havoc brought to Europe), but rather we will set up safe zones in their country where they want to stay.

We will reclaim our strong position on the world stage, for we have seen the chaos created by “leading from behind,” whatever that phrase means. It is very hard to lead from behind.

We will rebuild our county’s infrastructure as opposed to the stimulus package (I guess shovel ready wasn’t so shovel ready).

It will mean the end of gangs in crime-ridden sanctuary cities, and the passage of “Kate’s Law.”

We will have school choice and vouchers, ending the monopoly of teacher unions and their failed schools.

Then, as an added bonus, we are finally getting rid of the corrupt, scandal-ridden, lying Clintons. Thank goodness!

Sixty million people were excluded from the “Obama inclusion delusion,” which was a main reason for President-elect Donald Trump.

So, after reading Michael Wilkerson’s letter (Herald, Nov. 14), one must believe his patient’s tears were tears of joy.
