The Boys & Girls Club of La Plata County is inviting the community to participate in Red Ribbon Week, Oct. 23-31, an event that takes a stance against drugs and promotes healthy communities, according to a Durango Business Improvement District news release.
Members of the Boys & Girls Club will distribute posters to local businesses and red ribbons to employees to show support for the initiative.
Club members want to help spread the word about creating and sustaining a healthy, safe, drug-free Durango, the release said.
