Durango Antique Market, 780 Main Ave., earned first place in the Business Improvement District’s holiday lights contest.
The Business Improvement District on Thursday crowned Durango Antique Market the winner of its annual holiday window-decorating contest.
The competition opened Dec. 5, and people voted for their favorite decorations until the sun went down on the winter solstice, Dec. 21.
Votes were counted from the 35 businesses that competed, and Durango Antique Market won first place, Beads and Beyond came in second and the Fort Lewis College window at Durango Welcome Center came in third. The three businesses are located on Main Avenue.
Voters selected Pet Haus as best uptown holiday decorator.
