According to the latest study by Schools.com, Durango is the fifth best college town in the United States, with 20 percent of the population between the ages of 20 and 34.
The top 10 college towns were: Ithaca, New York; Mankato, Minnesota; Bozeman, Montana; Minot, North Dakota; Durango; Missoula, Montana; Juneau, Alaska; Brookings, South Dakota; Stevens Point, Wisconsin; and Ames, Iowa.
