NFL playoff games covered by the Fox Network on Saturday and Sunday were available only in Spanish in Durango because of a technical problem at Charter Spectrum TV, the cable provider in town.
Bret Picciolo, a spokesman for Charter Communications, said the language feeds were swapped.
“This past weekend, a technical issue caused the Spanish and English language feeds to be swapped. Our engineering team has corrected that issue,” Picciolo said in an email Tuesday.
He added, “A change in the programmer’s stream required that we adjust a component on our network in order to provide the correct audio feed.”
The NFC Championship game between the Los Angeles Rams and the New Orleans Saints at 1:05 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, should be available and in English on Spectrum in Durango, Picciolo said.
