Talk with officials about climate change

There are many different solutions to address our changing climate. The most recent Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report shows we must take meaningful action now if we want to limit global warming. Marching in the Earth Day parade and talking to your friends, family and even strangers, can be very effective tools for addressing climate change. We care about our farmers and doing our best to avoid more years of drought. We care about the health of our forests and want to avoid devastating wildfires as much as possible. We care about clean air for ourselves and our children, and want to avoid air pollution as much as possible.

Please talk to people, including our elected officials, and tell them why you care so much about our changing climate. The parade will start at 10:30 a.m. from Main and College on Saturday, April 23. We will march to Rotary Park. Come join us. After the Parade, please stay for the fabulous events at Rotary Park, from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. Celebrate Earth Day by talking about climate solutions and why working on climate change matters to you.
