Tara Mandala will host its first open house of the year from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at the center, 4000 Forest Service Road 649, Pagosa Springs.
The open house will include a guided tour of the Retreat Center and Tara Temple, a brief introduction to meditation with time for questions and a vegetarian buffet lunch.
The open house is free and open to the public. The meditation class is free but requires online registration. A suggested donation of $5-$20 to the teacher is optional.
Tara Mandala Center is a 25-minute drive just outside of Pagosa Springs.
