Trinley Gyaltsen, 4, runs up to Tara Mandala south of Pagosa Springs. Gyaltsen is the son of Lama Gyurme Raboyes and Tsewang Yudron.
An open house will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Tara Mandala Retreat Center and Temple south of Pagosa Springs.
A guided tour of the center and temple, an introduction to meditation and a vegetarian buffet lunch will be offered.
The event is free and open to all.
The retreat center is located at 4000 Forest Service Road 649, about 15 miles southwest of Pagosa Springs.
