Taste Durango, Southwest soon at Farmers Market

I’ll be sorry to see the Main Avenue food celebration not happen in May 2023, but thrilled to welcome back the Durango Farmers Market, opening for the entire summer on May 13 in the TBK Bank parking lot. Always fresh, always in season, find your own ingredients and create your own creations with local food from our farmers and ranchers –many at the forefront of regenerative farming practices –May through October.

Right now, I am enjoying sautéed onions from Green Table Farm (Mancos) with roasted green chiles grown by Rohwer’s Farm (Pleasant View) and a ground beef patty from Mill Iron Lazy K Ranch (Cortez). Come May, I will be so excited for the fresh salad greens from Homegrown and Stone Free farms, tomatoes from Adobe House and cucumbers from Summit Roots (Bayfield, Cortez and Durango farms).

Taste Durango and the Southwest every Saturday this summer!
