Carol Hedges, Colorado Fiscal Institute executive director and League of Women Voters member, will present “Understanding the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights and Gallagher Amendment: Why Should We Care?” at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 30 at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
Hedges is an expert on TABOR and the Gallagher Amendment, is the author of Ten Years of TABOR and has worked in the research, policy and advocacy communities for more than 15 years.
The presentation is free and open to all. Taxpayers and business people are encouraged to attend.
