This letter has been sent to hopefully save our two wonderful pet bunnies from the city of Durango because the city thinks they are livestock, and they aren’t allowed to live in town like the many chickens are.
We love Durango and are involved with animals and young-adult involvement with the community – including 4H, which gives kids the best involvement with helping others here in Durango.
I’m fearful that this is going to destroy my kids’ kindness to others’ quality and that Durango will become another California where nobody cares about anyone.
Please help Durango, and call the city to save our bunnies.
