The Pine River Community Leadership Network and the Bayfield Family Center want to thank our generous anonymous donor and all the kids, teens, adults, families, and local businesses who contributed so bigheartedly to our BK4K Snackpack Matching Funds, Friends and Food Drive. Not only did we meet and exceed the $3,000 matching funds, but we took in volumes of food and supplies essential to the project. Bayfield Elementary School kids collected enough food that they will be able to distribute snacks among BES classrooms during the upcoming test weeks. And the students at Bayfield Middle School conducted a school-wide BK4K food drive from April 21 - May 1. We are very proud that our Bayfield kids are such a strong community that takes care of each other!
Don't forget, the next Pine River Shares Community Dinner is Saturday, May 31 at Eagle Park.Come one and all - everyone is welcome - bring a dish to share or just come and enjoy!
