The Library Advisory Board of the Durango Public Library extends its appreciation to Isabel “Rosie” Gurnee for her service on the board for the past school year.
Gurnee was the Youth Ex-Officio member to the LAB from the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Commission. During the year, she offered valuable ideas for assessing and expanding youth participation in the library. The City of Durango’s Youth Engagement Program aims to promote youth and community partnerships, encourage teen engagement and cultivate meaningful opportunities for Durango’s young adults.
