Thank you DHS leadership!
After 4 years at DHS I would like to thank the entire staff for giving my daughter a fulfilling high school career. The teachers have always made time for us when needed and were engaged at all times. I have never seen so many teachers that were “All in” as I have seen at DHS. After putting two older children through Florida schools, I can tell you that Durango has a school system that is above average and getting it right.
I am a very involved parent and have met and had discussions with most of my daughters councilors and teachers, and I have always left feeling that she was in great hands. As for the top leaders of DHS, you have my sincere gratitude for all of the professionalism that you have shown. I have another child at Miller Middle and I feel the same gratitude and look forward to him attending DHS. I will always be thankful for each and every one of the staff, you are all underpaid and under appreciated. For this parent, you get 5 stars, keep doing what you are doing!
