At Pathways to Independence, a Durango school district program, our main goal is to foster independence for the students in all areas, including community access. All the students use the trolley, transit, Opportunity Bus and Roadrunner on a regular basis. They use the system to get to school and home, work and internships, appointments, leisure and recreational activities or just to get out and about with friends.
The Trolley and Transit experience is always positive – from the “behind the scenes” people who issue passes and handle Opportunity Bus scheduling to the drivers who are welcoming, kind and helpful. And it’s always fun chatting it up with the fellow community travelers.
