The Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado would like to express our immense gratitude to all the businesses, individuals, foundations and family funds that donated to the Community Emergency Relief Fund (CERF) over the past five months. Your generous donations have enabled the Community Foundation to deploy more than $500,000 to organizations across Southwest Colorado working to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Community Foundation amplified regional generosity with some amazing partners that provided matching gifts, including the Ballantine Family Fund, Alpine Bank, Bank of Colorado, Bank of the San Juans, First Southwest Bank, TBK Bank, Vectra Bank, the Onward Foundation, the town of Pagosa, the city of Cortez and anonymous philanthropists. Additional matching challenges were launched by the Payroll Department and Animas Surgical Hospital. Other leaders in emergency response giving include La Plata Electric Association, McDonald’s and our local Rotary clubs.
We greatly appreciate the community support, making a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors during this challenging time.
Sincerely,
The Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado
