We would like to thank all the people of Archuleta and La Plata counties who came to our rescue after we were involved in a horrific car crash on Monday, Dec. 15, just west of Pagosa Springs. Due to our conditions, we weren’t able to get your names, but you selflessly gave your time and care to make sure all of us, from both vehicles, were given the best treatment you could provide.
The accident was in an area that didn’t have cell service, so first responders, law enforcement and ambulances were delayed. Yet you stayed with us until advanced help arrived. We are so grateful and are recovering quickly.
