The Durango Bridge Club held its 19th annual Four Corners Duplicate Bridge Tournament on June 9-11 at Durango Senior Center. Attendance was virtually equal to last year, as 68 participants from six states earned 270 master points in the six sessions played.
We would like to thank our sponsoring motels: Hampton Inn, Days Inn, Adventure Inn, Best Western Mountain Shadows, Spanish Trails Inn & Suites, and Adobe Inn.
One highlight the players enjoyed was drawing for 30 door prizes, given by these restaurants: Ken & Sue’s, Seasons of Durango, Zia Taqueria, Mutu’s Italian Kitchen, Gazpachos, East by Southwest, Tequila’s, Old Tymers Cafe, Eolus, Red Snapper, Himalayan Kitchen and Bread.
To the Senior Center, thank you for providing a roomy and controlled environment for our visitors at a reasonable cost.
