Wildlife Rehabilitation thankful for fundraiser

St. Francis Wildlife Rehabilitation thanks Ms. Kirby’s sixth-grade class at Escalante Middle School for its effort in the production of a program and fundraiser for Dooley, a peregrine-falcon-education bird at St. Francis Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, and me. We presented a program for the class in September 2016, and students decided to hold a card-and-poster sale, with artwork and descriptions of the natural history of falcons, as a fundraiser for us. The research that was required to accomplish this project is beyond commendable. Thank you again for thoughtfulness, kindness and appreciation for our wildlife.

This was the second event in Durango and the support, encouragement and generosity from the community was overwhelming. We look forward to the continued support from the community for events in the future.
