Seed Studio thanks community

We are honored that the community chose Seed Studio for summer children programs.

We recognize that the support from the community allows the nonprofit to grow, and we are thankful for the six years of support.

We have been able to provide a variety of scholarships and look forward to working with The Juniper School this fall.

Old Fort at Hesperus thankful for benefit

The Old Fort at Hesperus thanks the sponsors and bidders who participated in the recent online silent auction in support of the Farmer-in-Training program. The FIT program bridges the gap between a farm internship and operating an independent business as an incubator. Participants co-manage a plot of land with input from Old Fort staff. Over $1,700 was raised for small-scale equipment and the construction of a propagation greenhouse.

Donors included Blue Lake Ranch, Blue Mountain Trucking, Colorado State University Extension, Cyprus Café, Durango Nursery and Supply, Eno Wine Bar, Fort Lewis College, Greer Gravel, James Ranch, Kennebec Café, Living Tree, LoveKrauts, Maria’s Bookshop, Ore House and Yunomi Pottery.
