The spark of human kindness is alive and well in Durango. I want to thank you, Jack, for your help.
As I was driving to work, the route is from Pagosa Springs to Durango, I found myself stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire. With the realization that I had no cell service, and no real idea of what to do next, a very kind young man (Jack) stopped and changed the tire for me.
Jack was on his way from Durango to Alamosa to enjoy the Sand Dunes for the day. Out of the kindness of his heart he turned his car around, parked and went right to work replacing the tire. One thing he did say to me was his mother had a similar situation two weeks before and he wished someone had been there for her.
Well, I can say your mother should be (and I am sure is) proud of you. Congratulations to Jack’s mother for raising such a wonderful young man, and again, thank you, Jack.
