That’s putting in the shoe leather

Jennifer Thurston, right, cheers on Harry Steinberg, an entering sophomore at Durango High School, as he finishes off an 80-mile run at the bottom of the Junction Creek trailhead around 2 p.m. Monday afternoon. Steinberg along with 13 other cross country runners from the school ran for three days, going through passes and gaining thousands of vertical feet. The cross country team is trying to raise money, so all team members will be able to travel to meets. Harry Steinberg is the son of Elizabeth and Jason Steinberg.
