7:02 a.m. Five men were aggressively asking for money behind Manna, 1100 Avenida del Sol.

7:49 a.m. Two dogs escaped from a garage and were loose in the 2300 block of Forest Avenue.

11:14 a.m. A woman wanted to talk to police about someone going through her storage unit in the 300 block of Animas View Drive.

12:24 p.m. An Audi hit a parked purple PT Cruiser without stopping near College Drive and Camino del Rio.

2:30 p.m. A man possibly high on methamphetamine pushed someone near Main Avenue and Ninth Street.

7:31 p.m. Staff needed assistance with someone being combative at Detox, 1125 Three Springs Blvd.

7:36 p.m. A man was sitting on the ground drinking Jack Daniels and yelling at people in the east 100 block of College Drive.

9:40 p.m. A drunken man was trying to fight a woman’s husband in the east 300 block of Fifth Street.

4:16 p.m. Windows were shot out of a house with a BB gun in the 32223 block of U.S. Highway 550, near Hermosa.

Saturday

12:03 a.m. A 38-year-old man who ate a marijuana edible was having a panic attack at the Lightner Creek Campground, Lightner Creek Road (1567 County Road 207).

8:35 p.m. Trees and brush were on fire and growing rapidly near Electra Lake Road and U.S. Highway 550, north of Durango.

Friday

1:02 p.m. Three boys were trying to jump from a bridge into the river in the 900 block of Trimble Lane (County Road 252). None wore life vests.

8:44 p.m. Someone reported a foot-long snake with tan and black markings inside a basement in the 100 block of South Eagle View Drive, south of Farmington Hill.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 17 calls Monday, including four traffic crashes: one in the 6800 block of East Animas Road (County Road 250), one near U.S. Highway 160 and County Road 225A, one near 14th Street and Main Avenue, and one near Timberline Drive and Florida Road (County Road 240).
