1:56 a.m. People were sleeping in the lobby of the Durango post office.

2:15 a.m. Three people were trespassing on the tennis courts at Durango High School. At least one arrest was made.

Wednesday

11:26 a.m. A vehicle crashed into a ditch near mile marker 92 on U.S. Highway 160, west of Elmore’s Corner.

11:58 a.m. A man’s bicycle was stolen from the 1200 block of Main Avenue.

12:50 p.m. A truck hit a child in a crosswalk in the 2600 block of Main Avenue.

1:54 p.m. Two vehicles crashed head-on in the 30000 block of U.S. Highway 160 east.

2:21 p.m. A man was harassing people and acting aggressively near the intersection of west Ninth Street and Roosa Avenue.

3:36 p.m. Five people were swimming in a pool where they shouldn’t have been, in an apartment complex in the 1200 block of Escalante Drive.

6:49 p.m. Someone was threatening neighbors in the 700 block of Animas View Drive.

10:12 p.m. A loud party in the Bennett Open Space in the 3300 block of East Third Avenue disturbed someone.

10:41 p.m. The loud party in the Bennett Open Space had gotten louder.

11:40 a.m. A man exposed himself to someone at the Vallecito Creek campground.

Firefighters and medics responded to 14 calls Wednesday and at least one call Thursday morning, including a vehicle and pedestrian crash and a smoke scare.
