Tuesday
9:12 a.m. A man and a woman were fighting behind Durango High School. Officers gave at least one person a verbal warning.
10:22 a.m. A vehicle hit a pedestrian near the intersection of Ninth Street and Main Avenue. No injuries were reported.
2:19 p.m. Four men were “checking doors and windows” at a hotel in the 2900 block of Main Avenue. Officers arrested at least one person on an unrelated warrant.
7:27 p.m. A man and a woman were loitering inside a business in Town Plaza. Officers issued at least one warning for trespassing.
9:08 p.m. People were fighting in a parking lot in the 400 block of East Second Avenue.
9:15 p.m. A man believed to be intoxicated was acting “extremely belligerent” in the 400 block of Main Avenue.
9:20 p.m. People were smoking meth in a room of a hotel in the 400 block of East Second Avenue. Officers arrested at least one person on an unrelated warrant.
10:40 p.m. Two men were arguing and one threw a drink at someone in the 2500 block of Main Avenue. Officers arrested at least one person.

4:12 a.m. A man and a woman were fighting in the 900 block of Lightner Creek Road (County Road 207) west of Durango.
Tuesday
7:26 a.m. A semi truck hit an elk in the 29000 block of U.S. Highway 550, north of Durango. Law enforcement reported damage to the truck.
12:03 p.m. Someone’s dog sitter did not return her pet to the 3500 block of La Posta Road (County Road 213) southwest of Durango.
