10:07 a.m. Officers gave a written warning to people who were camping illegally in a bright blue school bus at 2200 West Second Ave.

8:08 p.m. A man violated his parole and escaped from Hilltop House, and was arrested near South City Market, in the 1000 block of Camino del Rio.

10:33 p.m. A resident at 2400 Arroyo Drive reported that someone was moving his trash can.

Saturday

2:05 a.m. A 19-year-old man punched a wall and dislocated his right-hand pinky finger at the End-O-Day Motel, 350 East Eighth Ave.

8:38 a.m. Road rage was reported after the driver of a silver SUV got out of his vehicle and punched the driver of a tan car in the 4000 block of Florida Road (County Road 240).

12:06 p.m. Someone driving a white Ford truck littered a cigarette out the window at the intersection of East Third Avenue and Florida Road.

3:15 p.m. A passerby reported that a 40-year-old woman was bleeding from the face and walking barefoot in the 400 block of Florida Road.

4:47 p.m. Someone punched their neighbor’s car at 2350 West Third Ave. Police made an arrest.

7:25 p.m. A man was yelling at people in the 800 block of Main Avenue. Police made an arrest.

7:53 p.m. Someone reported an attempted vehicle theft and heard gunshots at the Best Western Durango Inn, 21382 U.S. Highway 160.

11:14 p.m. A loud party with juveniles vomiting in the street was reported at 78 Jameson Drive.

Sunday

6:15 a.m. An intoxicated man was passed out in a booth at Denny’s, 666 Camino del Rio.

7:01 a.m. A man was sleeping inside Durango Post Office, 222 W. Eighth St. Police made an arrest.

1:28 p.m. Someone reported a man who was slumped forward in his car, moaning, at 3063 Main Ave.

Monday

11:40 p.m. An intoxicated man was sleeping near the dumpsters behind the Conoco gas station, 901 Camino del Rio. Police made an arrest.

Tuesday

9:58 a.m. Someone reported an ongoing problem of their neighbor’s 11 dogs barking at 345 Pine Ridge Road.

Wednesday

2:44 p.m. Someone was firing a gun from a gray Ford Expedition with Colorado license plates on Hermosa Creek Road.

8:45 p.m. A vehicle slid off the road and rolled multiple times at 13308 U.S. Highway 160.

11:20 p.m. Someone found a loaded syringe at Sky Ute Casino Resort, 14324 Highway 172.

Saturday

3:38 p.m. A vehicle was on fire on U.S. Highway 550 at the bottom of Farmington Hill.

Monday

9:25 a.m. Someone reported that their neighbor dumped trash on their property at 122 County Road 510.

10:51 a.m. A woman was burning her boyfriend’s possessions in Lightner Creek Mobile Home Park, 907 County Road 207. Deputies made an arrest.

4:29 p.m. A power line fell and was in the road at 4700 County Road 240.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 67 calls Friday through Monday, including 10 sick people, three falls, three structure fires, a brush fire, a vehicle fire and a power line or transformer problem.
