9 a.m. A suspicious bag was left at the front of the Durango Welcome Center.
12:12 p.m. Someone drove his or her vehicle away after hitting a parking meter on Eighth Street between Main Avenue and Camino del Rio.
2:15 p.m. Someone reported a hit-and-run incident in a parking lot of Animas Surgical Hospital on Rivergate Lane.
7:11 p.m. Someone reported two girls younger than 10 smoking cigarettes in Buckley Park.
10:10 p.m. A man and a woman had a verbal argument in the 900 block of Spruce Drive. Alcohol was involved, police said.
Durango fire
Firefighters and medics responded to 17 calls Monday including several falls, an overdose, an allergic reaction and a brush fire on La Posta Road (Country Road 213).
