7:21 a.m. Someone was curled up and sleeping in an entryway at TBK Bank of Durango, 259 W. Ninth St.

11:57 a.m. Someone reported receiving a counterfeit bill in the 1100 block of Camino del Rio.

5:32 p.m. An injured deer was dragging itself across the road in the 700 block of Florida Road.

10:25 a.m. A man was standing in the middle of a lane of traffic near the intersection of County Road 203 and U.S. Highway 550, near northern city limits.

5:23 p.m. A car hit a deer, and the deer was still alive in the 5000 block of Colorado Highway 172, near mile marker 19.

Firefighters and medics responded to 15 calls Thursday and early Friday, including six emergency medical service calls; two car crashes, including one with injuries; and a report of smoke.
