5:19 a.m. A vehicle hit a deer in the 12000 block of U.S. Highway 160, about 2 miles west of Hesperus. The vehicle was blocking traffic.

Wednesday

7:30 a.m. A box fell out of a truck and glass was all over the road in the 16000 block of U.S. Highway 160, about 2 miles east of Hesperus.

11:37 a.m. Someone threatened to send a hit man to someone’s house south of Durango.

11:48 a.m. Someone wanted to talk to a deputy about livestock being poisoned in the 1200 block of Mariposa Drive, in the Grandview area.

1:19 p.m. A vehicle ran off a road and into a ditch near Florida Road (County Road 240) and Edgemont Highlands Drive.

4:56 p.m. Bicyclists were riding on the wrong side of the road in the 10000 block of U.S. Highway 550, south of Durango.

9:28 p.m. People were setting off fireworks in the 5300 block of La Posta Road (County Road 213), south of Durango.
