2:22 a.m. A drunken man passed out in the lobby at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.

1:25 p.m. Two men were going door to door trying to sell television service in the east 500 block of 32nd Street.

3:46 p.m. People were shooting off fireworks in the 3200 block of West Second Avenue. Police issued a warning.

10:12 p.m. There was a loud party, and people were shooting a BB gun toward someone’s house in the 2500 block of Delwood Avenue.

Saturday

4:29 p.m. Items were stolen from a woman’s car in the 1600 block of Forest Avenue.

9:08 p.m. Four people were fighting at Robert E. DeNier Youth Services Center, a juvenile detention center in Bodo Industrial Park.

10:17 p.m. Firecrackers were being set off near West Second Avenue and 33rd Street.

Friday

10:34 a.m. Four kids were putting things on the railroad tracks in the 1500 block of Main Avenue.

2:51 p.m. Someone driving a vehicle was trying to run someone over at Home Depot, 1301 South Camino del Rio.

7 a.m. Someone had a large bonfire in a backyard in the 2500 block of Delwood Avenue.

7:23 p.m. The driver of a red truck hit another vehicle without stopping. Police were able to make an arrest at an Exxon service station, 1220 Carbon Junction.

8:43 p.m. A man broke into the pool area and was taking a shower at Durango Downtown Inn, 800 Camino del Rio.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 65 calls Thursday through Sunday, including two assaults, one elevator rescue at 835 Main Ave., nine people who fell down, one woman giving birth, a report of smoke inside the Durango Community Recreation Center, two structure fires, three traffic crashes and a vehicle on fire in the 200 block of East Eighth Avenue.
