2:01 a.m. A man with a “fighting stick” was “acting angry” at a bar in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

Monday

9:22 a.m. Someone found a “filled syringe” near Animas City Park.

10:59 a.m. A woman said her boyfriend was beating her up in the 3100 block of East Animas Village Drive before the telephone line dropped.

1:37 p.m. A man in a stairwell of a school in the 200 block of East Fifth Avenue was spraying something. Officers arrested at least one person on an unrelated warrant.

5:42 p.m. People tried to enter someone’s motel room in the 2200 block of Main Avenue.

5:49 p.m. A man believed to be intoxicated was in a stairwell in the 500 block of Main Avenue. Officers gave at least one person a verbal warning.
