1:25 p.m. A man was assaulted on the Animas River Trail near Schneider Skate Park.

3:47 p.m. Three kids were trying to break into a car at the Mason Center, 301 E. 12th St.

12:35 a.m. Someone was sleeping in the laundry room of Riverview Apartments, 3207 East Second Ave. Police made an arrest.

7:32 a.m. A vehicle was on fire at Elmore’s Corner, 30500 U.S. Highway 160.

11:01 a.m. A goat was standing in the road near the entrance to Edgemont at 5200 County Road 240.

1:10 p.m. There was a head-on traffic collision at the intersection of U.S. Highway 160 and Highway 172.

5:05 p.m. People were shooting firearms toward Goulding Trail near the Glacier Club at 238 N. Tamarron Drive.

8:50 p.m. Teenagers were lighting things on fire under the bridge near Confluence at Three Springs Apartments, 100 Confluence Ave.

11:38 p.m. A deputy chased a bear away from the dumpsters at The Inn, 49617 U.S. Highway 550, at Purgatory Resort.

6:35 a.m. A dead dog was found in the road at 3600 U.S. Highway 160.
