2:05 a.m. Two men were throwing things at vehicles in the parking lot in the 3100 block of E. Animas Village Drive, and they may have broken windshield wipers.

TUESDAY

1:44 a.m. A woman reported her daughter might be stranded after sliding off the road near North College Drive and Florida Road.

7:39 a.m. The traffic light at Santa Rita Drive and the U.S. Highway 550/160 corridor was malfunctioning.

11:20 a.m. In an accident pitting a Nissan Altima vs. a power pole near the intersection of Roosa Avenue and El Paso Street, the pole did not look damaged.

6:22 p.m. A black dog was loose in the area of Colorado Highway 3 and Santa Rita Drive.

10:33 p.m. A woman reported that a tree had fallen on her home in the 200 block of Animas View Drive.

11:09 p.m. An empty white Kia Sorrento had been parked at a gas station pump for more than an hour in the 600 block of Camino del Rio.

MONDAY

8:53 a.m. Firewood was stolen in the 1200 block of Avenida del Sol.

TUESDAY

Durango Fire responded to 11 calls, including two cases of traumatic injuries.

MONDAY

The department responded to 12 calls, including a fall and traumatic injuries.

Friday-Sunday

Durango Fire Protection District responded to 52 calls, including a vehicle on fire in Bodo Industrial Park and an elevator rescue in the 21000 block of U.S. Highway 160.
