7:30 a.m. A donkey and three horses were in the roadway in the 7000 block of County Road 105, in western La Plata County.
12:30 p.m. Someone reported a problem with a helicopter during the past few days near the Animas Airpark.
Durango Fire
Firefighters and medics responded to 19 calls Tuesday, including a brush fire in the 600 block of Hollow Ridge Road, a fire alarm in the 50800 block of U.S. Highway 550, past Purgatory Resort, a power line or transformer problem near County Road 203 and Twilight Trails Circle and a traffic crash near county roads 207 and 208.
