12:22 a.m. Someone was screaming in an alley in the 1200 block of Main Avenue. Someone also heard muffled popping sounds.

6:21 a.m. Hypodermic needles were found in a park in the 2300 block of West Second Avenue.

3:10 p.m. Two men were on a motorized scooter on the Animas River Trail near Rivergate Lofts, in south Durango.

Saturday

2:26 a.m. A man tried to attack a woman in an alley in the 1800 block of Main Avenue.

2:48 p.m. A woman reported finding her stolen bicycle locked in the 800 block of East Second Avenue.

7:20 p.m. A man passed out on a table at Iris Park, 1235 Camino del Rio, and his dog wouldnÂ’t let anyone near him.

Friday

11:55 a.m. A homeless person was sleeping in an alley in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

5:38 p.m. A group of juveniles was being verbally combative to passers-by on the river trail near Rotary Park.

6:11 p.m. Someone wanted to talk about reckless bicycle riders on the river trail behind the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.

5:03 p.m. A brush fire was reported in the 300 block of County Road 119, in western La Plata County.

Saturday

12:19 p.m. A brush fire was reported in the 200 block of County Road 216, north of Bondad.

Friday

6:45 p.m. A vehicle was on fire near the DoubleTree, at Camino del Rio and U.S. Highway 160.

Durango Fire & Rescue Authority responded to 24 calls Friday through Sunday.
