2:45 a.m. Someone reported a loud explosion and the smell of an electrical burn near the intersection of First Street and East Fifth Avenue.

7:40 a.m. Police responded to a man rummaging through the outside ash tray in the 2000 block of Main Avenue.

8:22 a.m. Police made an arrest in the report of three men with open containers in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

5:36 p.m. Someone reported drug activity in the 400 block of Florida Road.

Saturday

10:07 a.m. Someone reported a man with a compound bow on the Animas River Trail near the 600 block of South Camino del Rio.

12:30 p.m. Someone reported a female shoplifter leaving the store with a child in the cart at Walmart, 1155 South Camino del Rio.

1:32 p.m. Someone reported illegal sewer dumping at the water dock in the 500 block of South Camino del Rio.

2:36 p.m. Someone reported five drunken men passing around a bottle of vodka in the 500 block of Main Avenue.

FRIDAY

11:09 a.m. A person reported the illegal dumping of paint in an alley in the 1900 block of West Third Avenue.

12:53 p.m. Police issued a verbal warning for illegal camps being set up in the west 300 block of Ninth Street, south of the bridge on the west side of the river.

7:01 p.m. A woman reported a bear chased her aggressively behind the DoubleTree Hotel on Camino del Rio.
