3:25 p.m. Someone involved in a disturbance was arrested at Buckley Park.

6:10 p.m. A fire occurred on the side of the road in the 700 block of Florida Road.

10:30 p.m. A man in a dumpster refused to leave in the 2200 block of Main Avenue.

Wednesday

4:38 p.m. Caregiver neglect of a 70-year-old person was reported in the 13400 block of Highway 140.

6:14 p.m. Theft of propane tanks was reported in the 400 block of East Animas Road (County Road 250).

7:52 p.m. Someone was arrested on suspicion of burglary in the 1600 block of County Road 526.

Tuesday

2:55 p.m. A brushfire was reported at the Bondad landfill.

7:07 p.m. A burglary was reported in the 25800 block of U.S. Highway 160 east.

8:15 p.m. A woman pulled a child out of the trunk of a vehicle then put the child back in the trunk in the 1700 block of County Road 334.

Monday

8:36 a.m. An ongoing problem with theft was reported in the 200 block of Kaycee Lane.

10:26 a.m. People were shooting off bottle rockets in the 7500 block of County Road 203.

1:47 p.m. A burglary was reported at a storage facility in the 80 block of County Road 234.

5:31 p.m. A vehicle went off the road and caught fire, possibly causing a brushfire, in the 5000 block of County Road 321.

Sunday

1:03 a.m. A house was on fire in the 100 block of Hermosa Meadows Road.

11:34 a.m. A boat and trailer were reported stolen in La Plata County.

Saturday

12:13 a.m. Someone had large campfires on their property in the 1600 block of County Road 214.

12:57 p.m. A large group of people was jumping off Bakers Bridge.

Friday

8:12 a.m. A man was videotaping a minor who appeared to be high on drugs in the area of South Camino del Rio.

11:27 a.m. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 400 block of Trimble Lane (County Road 252).

2:37 p.m. A burglary was reported in the 30 block of County Road 221.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 18 calls Wednesday through Thursday morning, including 15 emergency medical service calls and a brush fire.
