12:48 a.m. A bear got into garbage cans in the 700 block of East Eighth Avenue.

7:22 a.m. Someone spotted smoke coming from somewhere in the 20700 block of U.S. Highway 160 in west Durango.

9:48 a.m. Someone stole a motorcycle in the 2900 block of Richard Drive.

10:01 a.m. A driver rear-ended another vehicle in the 1200 block of Escalante Drive.

10:32 a.m. A driver sideswiped another vehicle in the 300 block of West Frontage Road. At least one person was cited.

11:23 a.m. Someone stole a man’s credit card from a bar in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

1:59 p.m. A man stole a bag worth more than $100 from a retail store in the 2100 block of Main Avenue. At least one person was given a verbal warning.

5:55 p.m.. A man and a woman were fighting in the 3500 block of West Second Avenue.

7:31 p.m. A 30-year-old man lay on the ground vomiting in the 3100 block of Main Avenue.

8:18 p.m. A woman was fighting with family members in the lower 100 block of Primrose Circle.

10:17 p.m. Someone saw a bear somewhere near the 3500 block of Main Avenue.

10:30 p.m. A woman stole from Walmart. At least one person was arrested.

8:32 a.m. Someone stole a mailbox in the 3700 block of County Road 330, north of Bayfield.

12:22 p.m. A man stopped in front of a trailer in the lower 100 block of County Road 221 southeast of Durango.

2:02 p.m. Two people on bicycles threatened a woman and her husband in the 13000 block of County Road 501, south of Vallecito Reservoir.

10:01 p.m. A man tried to break into a residence somewhere on West Third Avenue.

Firefighters and medics responded to 13 calls Monday and at least one call Tuesday morning, including 11 emergency medical calls and one smoke scare.
