6:17 a.m. Someone reported a strong odor of gas inside and outside in the 200 block of Turner Drive.

Wednesday

7:20 a.m. A woman wanted to talk to a police officer about locking her child in a silver Acura in the 600 block of Arroyo Drive.

12:01 p.m. Items were stolen from a woman’s car in the south City Market parking lot, 6 Town Plaza.

3:46 p.m. Someone reported a stolen bicycle from the 1100 block of Goeglein Gulch Road.

6:11 p.m. A traffic light was out and a civilian was directing traffic at Ninth Street and Camino del Rio.

9:07 p.m. A man was trying to break into cars in the west 100 block of Eighth Street.

Firefighters and medics responded to 17 calls, including two traffic crashes: one near Trimble Lane (County Road 252) and U.S. Highway 550, and another in the 17800 block of U.S. Highway 160, west of Durango.
