3:27 a.m. Someone was sleeping in front of the P.O. boxes at the Durango Post Office.

2:39 p.m. Smoke was reported to be coming from the ceiling of a business in the west 100 block of Ninth Street. Firefighters responded, but no major problem was found.

3:09 p.m. Six people left without paying at Tequila’s, 948 Main Ave.

Saturday

9:56 p.m. A vehicle was egged in the 500 block of Florida Road.

Friday

9:29 a.m. A man was standing at the drive-thru window holding a knife at McDonald’s, 201 W. College Drive.

9:53 a.m. A resident called to report a dryer had been left in a driveway in the 20000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

4:29 p.m. A man was caught shoplifting at a store in the 500 block of Main Avenue.

6:58 p.m. Police responded to a call of an injured deer, possibly with two broken back legs, in the lower 100 block of Jameson Drive.

Firefighters and medics responded to 32 calls Friday through Sunday, including 22 EMS calls, a smoke scare and an incident of unauthorized burning.
