12:50 a.m. A large piece of ice was in the middle of the road at west 12th Street and Camino del Rio.

Sunday

1:10 p.m. A homeless man was kicking cars near a stop sign outside Advanced EyeCare, 1165 South Camino del Rio.

6:50 p.m. A man refused to pay for his taxi at 60 Westwood Place.

Saturday

4:13 a.m. A highly intoxicated man was locked outside an apartment complex in the east 700 block of Second Street.

8:22 p.m. A rock slide that left debris in both lanes occurred on north Main Avenue near Animas View Drive.

8:33 p.m. Two gunshots, possibly fired near the Animas River, were heard at Island Cove Mobile Home Park, 485 Florida Road.

11:07 p.m. Someone reported that a woman in her early 20s hit her head and was unconscious and drooling outside Animas City Theatre, 128 E. College Drive.

Friday

10 a.m. Someone tried to pay with counterfeit money at the Mustang gas station, 901 Camino del Rio.

4:19 p.m. An intoxicated homeless man was cat-calling passersby outside Incognito Salon, 736½ Main Ave.

5:48 p.m. A man took a child out of the restaurant by the neck at McDonald’s, 201 W. College Drive.

11:59 p.m. Someone reported a fight underway in front of Steamworks Brewing Co., 801 East Second Ave. Police made an arrest.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 30 calls Friday through Sunday, including two people who fell, two people with breathing problems, an incident involving exposure to heat or cold, a brush fire, an assault, a cardiac or respiratory arrest that resulted in death and an elevator rescue.
