7:37 a.m. A dog was hit by a car in the 2000 block of Main Avenue.

8:22 a.m. A 30-year-old man was yelling at cars and jumping in front of cars near Albertsons, 311 W. College Drive.

6:03 a.m. A car was broken into, and items were stolen in the 300 block of Silver Queen South.

Wednesday

7:57 a.m. Black Angus cows were on the road near County Road 510 and Sundance Hills Road, north of Oxford.

12:13 p.m. Someone tried to break into a neighbor’s home in the 34200 block of U.S. Highway 550, north of Hermosa.

1:05 p.m. A tractor sat on the side of the road for about three months near county roads 302 and 305, west of the Durango-La Plata County Airport.

Firefighters and medics responded to 14 calls Wednesday, including 12 medical calls and two traffic crashes: one in the 1400 block of County Road 302 and another near Third Street and East Eighth Avenue.
