3:08 p.m. Several people were in the river near the Ninth Street Bridge, and someone was concerned for their safety because of the mine waste coming downstream.
4:42 p.m. About 10 children were swimming in the river behind Durango High School after it had been closed because of mine waste coming downstream.
9:26 p.m. A homeless man was on someone’s front lawn in the 600 block of East Fourth Avenue and refused to move. Police made an arrest.
