12:38 a.m. A woman lost her balance and fell into a store window, breaking the window, in the 800 block of East Second Avenue.

Sunday

2:26 p.m. Drivers in three Ferraris – black, white and orange – were speeding southbound on U.S. Highway 550 past Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort. Police issued at least one citation.

Saturday

12:01 p.m. Several children were throwing water balloons off the building that houses Maria’s Bookshop, 960 Main Ave.

4:12 p.m. A drunken man urinated in public in the west 100 block of Eighth Street.

4:27 p.m. Teens were jumping off the side of the 32nd Street bridge into the river.

9:54 a.m. Several people were trying to start a riot at the Robert E. DeNier Youth Services Center, 720 Turner Drive.

Friday

9:43 a.m. Someone reported a case of bigamy at the La Plata County Courthouse, 1060 East Second Ave.

7:59 p.m. A man stole diapers from Albertsons, 311 West College Drive. Police made an arrest.

8:25 p.m. A man was sniffing spray paint on a bench near Main Avenue and College Drive.

11:05 p.m. A home was egged in the 2100 block of West Second Avenue.

Sunday

2:52 p.m. A structure fire was reported on Dry Creek Road, east of Elmore’s Corner.

Saturday

1:40 a.m. A structure fire was reported in the 400 block of County Road 126, near Breen.

3:41 p.m. A trash bin was on fire in the 2300 block of Main Avenue.

Friday

6:38 p.m. Someone reported smoke indoors in the 300 block of Jenkins Ranch Road.

8:05 p.m. A brush fire was reported in the 37000 block of U.S. Highway 550, north of Hermosa.

Durango Fire & Rescue Authority responded to 47 calls Thursday through Sunday.
