7:04 a.m. A bear went through several trash cans in an alley near East Eighth Avenue and Seventh Street. Police issued written warnings to homeowners.

10:05 p.m. A 24-year-old woman was lying on the sidewalk and her hands were numb near 11th Street and Main Avenue.

12:37 p.m. A couch was on the side of the road in the 1000 block of Wildcat Canyon Road (County Road 141).

1:34 p.m. The windows of a business were shot out in the 800 block of Camino del Rio.

4 p.m. Someone was arrested for indecent exposure at Schneider Park, 950 Roosa Ave.

10:26 p.m. A neighbor’s dog was left out in the rain and poor conditions in the east 800 block of Fourth Street.

Wednesday

2:01 p.m. A brush fire was reported in the 1400 block of County Road 302, south of Elmore’s Corner.

11:29 p.m. Medics and firefighters responded to a traffic accident near 32nd Street (County Road 254) and East Animas Road (County Road 250).

Durango Fire & Rescue Authority responded to 17 calls Wednesday.
