3:11 a.m. A security check was made at a business in the 900 block of Camino del Rio.

TuesDAY

7:51 a.m. A red Ford stranded in the left lane on east Park Avenue at Main was causing a hazard.

9:22 a.m. An arrest was made as the result a report that someone was being coerced to withdraw funds from the downtown Bank of the San Juans.

1:05 p.m. Police issued a warning to an elderly homeless man displaying an obscene sign at a business in the 500 block of East Eighth Avenue.

4:06 p.m. Someone requested an officer be present while personal items were picked up at an address in the 600 block of Arroyo Circle.

7:14 p.m. A verbal warning was issued to several homeless people in front of a store in Town Plaza.

8:24 p.m. A man dressed in black was reported stumbling into the road in the 21000 block of U.S. Highway 160, in west Durango.

TuesDAY

Firefighters and paramedics answered 10 calls, among them two fire alarms, a report of outside smoke and an overdose.
