7:28 a.m. A backpack with knives in it was found near the fish hatchery, 151 E. 16th St.

9:32 a.m. Someone wanted to talk to a police officer about a counterfeit $100 bill at Bed Bath & Beyond, 800 South Camino del Rio.

1:29 p.m. A man playing guitar was blocking a sidewalk in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

4 p.m. A juvenile was seen “tagging” an electrical box at a turn signal on East Third Avenue.

10:23 p.m. A woman reported her son was assaulted at the Durango Skate Park, 1300 Roosa Avenue.

10:54 p.m. Six juveniles were drinking alcohol in a room at Days End, 2202 Main Ave.

Firefighters and medics responded to 25 calls, including two traffic crashes: one at Camino del Rio and U.S. Highway 160 and another near Rancho Durango Road and La Posta Road (County Road 213).
