1:24 p.m. A male wearing camouflage pants with a large knife on his belt was reportedly asking for drugs and money at East Fourth Avenue and College Drive.

4:16 p.m. An intoxicated person was reportedly harassing customers and stealing food at McDonald’s, 201 College Drive.

2:06 a.m. A resident reported a person setting off fireworks for ten minutes in the 1300 block of Florida Road.

9:59 p.m. An intoxicated man called the police because he was thrown out of the Wild Horse Saloon, 601 East Second Ave.

Friday

11:02 a.m. A child reportedly called 911 and kept saying hello in Spanish.

11:09 a.m. A tall, skinny person wearing combat boots and basketball shorts was arrested for shoplifting at south City Market, 6 Town Plaza.

1:05 p.m. Firefighters responded to a report of smoke coming from the 5000 block of Main Avenue.

Saturday

10:04 p.m. Firefighter responded to a gas smell in the 1200 block of Florida Road (County Road 240).

Friday

1:10 p.m. Firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 300 block of Nusbaum Road, near East Animas Road (County Road 250).

Thursday

9:34 a.m. Firefighters responded to a fire alarm in the 1400 block of East Third Avenue.

Durango Fire Protection District responded to 50 calls Thursday through Sunday.
